Inna Ataina Kal Kausar Translation In English

It is probably difficult to express the complete meaning of the word Kauthar, as it is used here, in a single word in any language.

This word is an enhanced version of the noun Kathrat, which means abundance in Arabic. Nevertheless, the context in which it has been used suggests not just any richness, but abundance of good, spiritual blessings, and of such abundance that is unrestricted and unlimited.

Also, it implies plenty of numerous blessings and advantages rather than a single gift or benefit.

Why Was Inna Ataina Kal Kausar Revealed?

When the opponents of the faith thought Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) had been entirely destroyed, Inna Ataina Kal Kausar was revealed.

His trade had been destroyed, he had been shut off from society, and his male offspring who may have carried on his name had passed away. He was now completely helpless and impotent.

Failure and disappointment would be his lot since the message he delivered was so unappealing that no one in Arabia, let alone Makkah, was willing to listen to it.

In such circumstances, Allah said:

“We have granted you the Kauthar,” it said on its own, and it meant:

Your adversaries think you are destroyed and have lost all the wonderful qualities you have before becoming a Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), but in reality, We have bestowed upon you a wealth of wonderful and many talents.

Why Is Surah Kausar Special?

Al Kauthar is unique because it encapsulated the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) immeasurable moral virtues, the tremendous gifts of Prophethood and the Quran, as well as the information and wisdom bestowed upon him.

In addition to the benefit of Tauhid, this also encompassed a way of life whose straightforward and understandable, sensible and natural, and all-encompassing principles had the ability to spread over the entire globe and continue to do so for all eternity.

The blessed name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) has been raised across the world for 1400 years and will continue to be till the Resurrection because of the gift of renown elevation contained in this.

This contained the blessing that, contrary to the predictions of his adversaries that he would be extinct since he had no male descendants.

In addition to giving him natural descendants from his only daughter, Fatimah Radiyallahu Anha, who have spread throughout the world and who bear his name as their sole source of distinction and pride, Allah also blessed him with spiritual descendants in the form of Muslims, who will uphold his name in the world until the Day of Resurrection.

Moreover, Inna Ataina Kal Kausar alludes to two other significant benefits that Allah would give him in the hereafter.

As we had no other method of finding out about them, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) told us about them by claiming that Kausar had also hinted at them.

  • On Resurrection Day, he will be given the Spring of Kauthar in the Plain of Assembly.
  • Second, he will obtain the River Kauthar in Paradise.

There is no dispute regarding the authenticity of both because such a huge number of Ahadith have been recorded from him by such a large number of reporters.

Hadiths Related To Inna Ataina Kal Kausar

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said the following on the Kauthar Fountain:

(1) On the Day of the Resurrection, when the cry of Al-Atash, Al-Atash (thirst, thirst!) will be heard from all directions, this Fountain will be provided to him.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) people (umma) will gather before him and be watered as a result of it.

He will enter the scene first and grab the center spot.

He said, “This is a Fountain where my Ummah will congregate on the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim).

(2). Many narrators have assigned the Fountain various attributes.

(3). According to the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) description,

Its water will be cooler than snow, sweeter than honey, and whiter than milk (in some legends, whiter than silver, while in others, whiter than snow);
The ground underneath it will smell more enticing than musk, and the water jugs positioned nearby will be as many as the stars in the night sky.
Those who drink from it will never experience thirst, and others who are deprived of it will never experience it.

These things have been recounted in several Ahadiths, with slight variations in wording (Bukhari).

(4). The Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) frequently forewarned his people about it, saying:

“Those of you who would follow me in changing my Way will be prohibited from entering the Fountain and from doing so.

They are my companions, he will reply, but it will also be said:

“Do you have any idea what they did after you?

I will then throw them away and tell them to keep away.

Many hadiths have covered this subject as well. (Bukhari).

(5). The Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) similarly forewarned Muslims who would adhere to him till the Resurrection, saying:

“Anyone who departs from my Way and brings about its alteration shall be cast out of the Fountain.

“O Allah, they are my people, the people of my Ummah,” I shall declare.

The comment will be, “Don’t you realize what changes they made after you and then turned around and left?”

Then I’ll do the same and keep them from getting close to the Fountain. There are several traditions on this topic in the Hadith (Bukhari).

Tafseer Inna Ataina Kal Kausar verse 2

The second verse of this outstanding Surah has been given a number of distinct interpretations by various scholars.

Some people believe that the Prayer refers to the five times of salat that are obligatory, while others believe it refers to the ‘Id al-Adha Prayer and still others believe it refers to the actual Prayer.

Several prominent academics claim that the Prayer’s use of the terms “Wanhar” and “sacrifice” means

placing the right hand on top of the left and placing them both on the chest;

Others claim that it entails beginning the prayer with Allahu Akbar while lifting both hands;

Others claim that it refers to raising both hands at the beginning of the Prayer and when bowing for Ruku. And so, after leaving Ruku,

Some claim that it entails offering the ‘Eid al-Adha Prayer before obliterating.

“O Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), lead the Prayer and give sacrifice alone for the sake of Your Allah, Who has showered Upon You Such Many Magnificent Blessings.”

This Order was given when Quraish’s pagan population was joined by the pagan populations of Arabia and the rest of the world in worshipping their respective deities and offering sacrifices at their temples.

As a result, the Command’s goal is to “

My prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death, O Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), are all for Allah, the Creator of the universe and the only Existent. I have been instructed to do this, and I am the first to submit to Him.

(Surah Al-An am:162-163)

The term shani’ in the third verse is derived from the word sha ‘n, which describes someone’s animosity and spite, which might cause them to treat others poorly.

In another verse of the Qur’an, it is written:

(And O Muslims,) the enmity of any people should not so provoke you as to turn you away from justice.”

(Surah AI-Ma’idah, verse 8).

So, Shani aka indicates that whoever is blinded by his hate of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) (peace be upon him) should fabricate untrue accusations against him, slander and defame him, and unleash his personal wrath against him by mocking and scoffing at him in every way conceivable.

Huwal Abtar:

“He himself is Abtar,” meaning that even if he calls you Abtar, he is himself Abtar.

The Introduction to the Quran provided a few explanations about Abtar.

It is derived from the verb Abtar, which means to cut off, although it has a broad figurative meaning.

According to the Hadith, the rak’ah of the prayer that is not joined by another rak’ah is referred to as butaira’, or the lone rak’ah.

Any task that is in any way important is Abtar if it is begun without Allah’s worship and praise.

According to another Hadith, suggesting that it is severed from its source, has no stability, and is doomed to failure.

  • Abtar is a term used to describe a man who lacks the means and resources to accomplish his goals.
  • Abtar is a person who has given up on happiness and success in life.
  • Abtar is a person who has been cut off from his friends, family, brotherhood, and other support systems.
  • The term “Abtar” is also used to refer to a guy who has no male descendants or whose male child or children have passed away, making it impossible for anybody to remember him after his passing.

In virtually every one of these instances, the skeptic Quraish referred to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as Abtar.

O Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), Allah says that your enemies are Abtar, not you.

This wasn’t merely “retaliation,” but rather a prophecy based on the most fundamental predictions in the Qur’an that really came to pass.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was considered an Abtar when it was created, and no one could have predicted how the Quraish’s powerful commanders,

Who were well-known not only in Makkah but all of Arabia, who had children, were successful in life, wealthy in material possessions, had companions and assistance all across the nation, had close ties to all the Arabian tribes, monopolized commerce, and oversaw Hajj would become Abtar.

But not long after that, everything changed. Many Arab and Jewish clans helped the Quraish conquer Madinah during the Battle of the Trench (A.H. 5).

And the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), who was under siege, was forced to defend the city by constructing a trench around the enemy stronghold. In A.H. 8, when he assaulted Makkah.

In barely three years, the Quraish were compelled to submit hopelessly because they had no ally.

After that, he took control of all of Arabia within a year or two, and tribes from all across the area sent delegates to him to seek pledges of loyalty, rendering his enemies entirely defenseless and without any means of resistance.

Even if their descendants lived, none of them now are aware that they are related to the Islamophobes Abu Jahl, Abu Lahab, As bin Wail, or ‘Uqbah bin Abi Mu’ait, and even if they are, they are unwilling to admit it.

On the contrary, the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) children are receiving blessings from all corners of the globe.

Hundreds of thousands of people view being related to him, as well as to his family and even the families of his Companions, as a badge of honor and dignity. Millions upon millions of Muslims take pleasure in their connection with him.

His opponents, not the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), were and are Abtar, according to history.
